Giving young workers a voice in SIPTU
SIPTU Youth Network brings together young people who are committed through education, action and campaigning, to improving the rights, wages and working conditions of young workers and assisting them to join and actively participate in SIPTU.
The aims of SIPTU Youth Network are to unite young workers to assess common issues and concerns, and to promote the organisation and representation of young men and women in SIPTU so that our voices are heard at all levels within the Union and our rights are protected at work.
We aim to support young workers who want to have a say in decision making and in the changes which affect our lives.
The SIPTU Youth Network will provide the space for young workers to develop our own distinctive contribution to the development of our Union.
Become a SIPTU member
We will shortly launch the introduction to the SIPTU Youth Network, followed by a seminar for young members. As we work to develop action programmes by organising forums and campaigns for young workers, we want to hear from you.
