Congress to Launch Campaign of Opposition

On Wednesday (October 21) the Irish Congress of Trade Unions will formally launch its public campaign of opposition to Government inaction on the jobs crisis; to proposed cuts in peoples’ incomes and cuts in vital services.
 
It will be launched by Congress President, Jack O’Connor and General Secretary David Begg and details of the campaign – including the national Day of Protest – will be presented.
 
The launch will take place in The O’Connell Room, Gresham Hotel, Dublin, at 2pm.
