SIPTU says considerable progress made in Aer Lingus talks

Considerable progress has been made in lengthy talks between SIPTU and Aer Lingus management representatives concerning ground operations and head office/support at the airline.

Detailed proposals presented to SIPTU will now be considered by Union members while the board of Aer Lingus will consider developments later today.

“Considerable progress was made in the discussions and we will consult with our members although a formal proposal will not emerge until after the board of Aer Lingus has met later today,” a SIPTU spokesperson said.
