Dispute at Aer Arann resolved

The dispute over staff transfers at Aer Arann has been resolved, following negotiations between SIPTU’s Aer Arann section and management this afternoon.

“The settlement means that all staff transferring to Sky Handling will receive over €1,800 per year of service - in recognition of the contribution they made towards the success of Aer Arann,” said SIPTU Sectoral Organiser, Dermot O’Loughlin.

“We are delighted at the outcome of these talks and wish to acknowledge Aer Arann’s management team for the courtesy they extended to our local negotiating team,” he said.
