The Allied Health Professionals Sector is a core component of the SIPTU Health Division. The sector represents radiographers, radiation therapists, community welfare officers, phlebotomists, pathology technicians as well as technical & administrative grades within both the public and private health service. With sole representing rights for some professions, the sector negotiates, on a local and national basis, on all matters relating to conditions of employment for our members. The Sector Organiser works closely with a number of the sector national committees to develop and achieve targeted goals with a focus on organising, professional development and collective bargaining.
