The ambulance sector represents members in all grades in the ambulance service. Pts, Emt's, Paramedics, Advanced Paramedics, Lemt's, Controllers, Team leader controllers and some officer's.

The sector is uniquely positioned to deal with the particular needs of this growing sector. The sector has seen significant improvements in the recent past and continuous training within the sector sees our members well placed to deliver a world class service to the public. The sector faces many challenges including privatisation and possible fragmentation through the arrival of a rival union in the service however Siptu's ability to organise both public and private will ensure that the members are professionally represented at all times.
