SIPTU’s Nursing sector represents nurses at all grades, in all workplaces and across all disciplines in both the public and private sector. As a Union we are committed not only to a high standard of representation but also to the protection of the qualifications and the status of nursing and midwifery as professions. As the largest Union in the health service we have a long and proud tradition of campaigning for the advancement of the professions and the protection of our health services.
