The Sector represents workers within all grades of the Agri Business Dairy and Meat Sectors throughout Ireland. SIPTU represents workers employed in small to medium size companies processing milk, cattle, pigs, sheep and poultry as well as those employed in large-scale agricultural food processing companies. The latter enterprises are among Ireland’s largest indigenous companies and play a major role in the economy.
