Guarded welcome for new Nursing Home Standards

SIPTU has welcomed the new standards for nursing homes, approved by the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA). However, SIPTU’s Nursing Homes Organiser, Paul Hardy, said it was unfortunate that employment standards barely get a mention.
