Workers and management at Lagan Brick, Kingscourt, county Cavan, have accepted Labour Relations Commission (LRC) proposals aimed at bringing a resolution to the month long dispute. This morning (Friday, 10th February) representatives of the employers’ organisation and the Construction Industry Committee of Congress met at the Labour Relations Commission (LRC) to discuss a list of CIF wage cutting demands.
After what one participate described as a ‘robust’ exchange of views between the workers’ and employers’ representatives the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting between the two sides is scheduled for the 30th March.
