James Connolly and the Re-conquest of Ireland by historian Dr. John Callow is an illustrated book which introduces the political ideas of the labour leader drawing on recently discovered documents from the Marx Memorial Library in London. The Jim Connell Society hosted the launch of the book in Liberty Hall on Monday, 13th January, at 5.00 p.m. Among those who addressed the event were Dr. John Callow, SIPTU General Secretary, Joe O’Flynn and RMT President, Peter Pringle.
