A string of successful pay deals across the Arts, Culture, Print Media and Sport Sector have delivered strong wage growth, improved benefits and better conditions for hundreds of members nationwide.
At Horseracing Ireland, Leopardstown Racecourse, and Leopardstown Golf Club, more than 35 SIPTU members will benefit from 3.25% annual increases from 2025 to 2027, with a higher 3.33% raise for those earning under €37,500. A new salary scale was introduced for lower-paid staff, and employer pension contributions will rise from 6.5% to 7%. Workers will also receive a €100 voucher for every World Pool race card day.
More than 230 members at MM Packaging across its three sites in Dublin and Cork will receive a 3.7% pay rise and €250 vouchers.
In Dublin Zoo, members secured pay rises of 3.75%, 3.25%, and 3% over three years, along with a €200 wellbeing voucher and five extra leave days for IVF treatment.
At Saica Pack in Clondalkin, Dublin, members benefitted from a 4.25% rise in 2024 and will see a further 2.5% in 2025, along with improved annual leave.
Former WeBet staff now employed by Boylesports will receive 3% (2023), 4% (2024), and 3% (2025) pay increases, and are now included in company-wide annual reviews, ending previous exclusion from such deals.
Virgin Media Ireland workers will receive performance-based increases of up to 3.5%.
Finally, Cork Opera House secured a three-year deal totalling 15% in staged increases, and RTÉ workers will see up to 6.5% in phased raises by end-2027.
