Members in the HSE and section 38 employments will receive an increase in annualised basic salary of 1% or €500, whichever is greater, from 1st February 2026.  

We are expecting to receive confirmation from the HSE on the actual pay dates when the increase will be received by members and payment of any arrears owing back to 1st February 2026. 

The increase applies to basic pay, pensionable allowances, overtime rates as a percentage of pay and set hour on-call rates. 

The pay increase of 10.25% for HSE staff over a two-and-a-half-year period was negotiated by SIPTU as part of the current public sector pay agreement.  

 We will provide this information to members once it is available. 

The agreement covered the period from 1st January 2024 to 30th June 2026.
