SIPTU members in Bausch and Lomb plant in Waterford accept WRC proposals

SIPTU members in the Bausch and Lomb plant in Waterford, County Waterford, have voted by a substantial majority to accept Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) proposals aimed at resolving a dispute concerning workers’ pay and conditions of employment. SIPTU Manufacturing Division Organiser, Gerry McCormack, said: “Our members have concluded that the WRC proposals offer a satisfactory manner in which to resolve the dispute at the company. Our focus will now be on ensuring that the proposals are implemented in full and timely manner.”
