Your Right to Organise a Union

Under the Irish constitution, everyone has the right to join a trade union.

No one should be discriminated against or dismissed because they are a member of a union.

Workers are also protected for engaging in trade union activities.

Union membership is 100% confidential, so you employer will never know you are a union member unless you want them to.
