During Trade Union Week, which took place in late April and early May, SIPTU Health Activists held dozens of events in health service workplaces from Wexford to Donegal and Mayo to Louth.
SIPTU Sector Organiser Damian Ginley said: “SIPTU Shop Stewards were out and about in force urging non-union health workers to stand with their union colleagues and join. If you benefit from union-won pay and conditions, it’s time to step up and strengthen our collective voice.”
In every location, the Health Division held a draw for members with a chance to win €100.
The winner of the Health Division’s Trade Union Week draw is Chukwuma Mojekeh, a Radiographer in James Connolly Memorial Hospital.
