The Aviation Sector Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on 19th March in Portlaoise, County Laois. The well-attended event saw constructive discussions on several issues.

SIPTU Deputy General Secretary, Greg Ennis and TEAC Divisional Organiser, Willie Noone both addressed the AGM and spoke on topics such as the EU Directive on Adequate Minimum Wages, organising workers and empowering Shop Stewards. SIPTU Digital Sector Organiser Paddy Cole gave a presentation on the Union’s Strategic Organising and Campaigning Department’s Digital Organising Strategy and how digital organising complements traditional ground organising and membership recruitment.
