The Health Division is calling on all Shop Stewards and activists to get involved in the 2026 Better in a Trade Union week, which runs from Monday, 27th April to Monday, 4th May.
We are all proud to be members of the trade union movement and this initiative gives us a great opportunity to highlight the value and importance of being part of it. Events will take place throughout the week in several hospitals and health facilities to coincide with the week.
“We had a great response from our health members in 2025 and we hope to build on that this year,” Damian Ginley said.
“It’s a great opportunity to highlight and promote all that is good within our movement as we look forward to the May Day Public Holiday, which marks International Workers’ Day.”
