The Aviation Sector hosted an information stand at Dublin Airport on 1st May to celebrate Trade Union Week. The stand generated a lot of discussion with existing members and garnered a lot of interest from those workers not in a union.
Trade Union Week is a week-long series of events focused on highlighting the benefits of union membership and encouraging workers to join a union. The theme for SIPTU this year was SIPTU Visible. SIPTU Strong. Held in late April into early May, coinciding with the May Day Bank Holiday, this year Trade Union Week ran from 28th April to 2nd May.
