Following difficult discussions at the Labour Court, talks on Tuesday 19th May with the HSE have concluded.
The parties have still not reached a settlement regarding the non-implementation of a 2020 independent report.
The Labour Court has asked the parties to return this Thursday as a final opportunity to try to resolve the dispute before next week’s industrial action.
Members of the Irish Ambulance Representative Council, comprising of representatives from SIPTU & UNITE, have agreed to attend on Thursday.
“I like to take this opportunity to thank all the representatives who attended the Labour Court over the last two long days,” SIPTU’s Ambulance Sector Organiser, John McCamley, said.
“I share their disappointment that more progress has not been made, but union representatives want to make sure they get the best possible deal on offer.”
