Members at Shanganagh Waste Water Treatment Plant have secured a 24-month pay deal of an 8% basic pay rise backdated to 1st June 2023. The agreement also includes payment of €1,200 in vouchers and extra holidays.
Shanganagh Waste Water Treatment Plant is operated as a joint venture between the Irish construction company, John Sisk & Son Ltd and Spanish company Drace Medio-Ambiente S.A.
In 2013, SIPTU members employed at the plant fought a successful industrial action campaign to secure trade union recognition.
