Our message to Government is clear. We want negotiations on a new public service agreement, but the Government must first honour the existing agreement, address pay for 2026 and provide assurances that the cost-of-living crisis will be addressed through a pay offer for the duration of any deal.
There can be no more delays or excuses.

This dispute is ultimately about protecting pay and living standards for workers across the entire economy.
Public service workers cannot be expected to stand by while the cost-of-living crisis continues to erode wages and leaves them falling further behind.
The Government must honour its commitments and provide a credible guarantee on pay before meaningful negotiations can proceed.
