SIPTU representatives will meet with the HSE, under the auspices of the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, July 13th) to discuss industrial issues preventing the recruitment and retention of mental health nurses. SIPTU Sector Organiser, Kevin Figgis said: “This engagement with the HSE includes the application of a nursing community allowance to new beneficiaries and to agree other mechanisms which will assist the further recruitment and retention of mental health nurses."
