SIPTU representatives will attend talks on Friday, 11th January, on the dispute at Bus Eireann following an invitation to unions and management this morning by the Labour Relations Commission (LRC). “We see this as a positive development and will attend the conciliation process at the LRC,” SIPTU Organiser, Willie Noone, said. Meanwhile, plans for strike action due to commence on Thursday 17th January will continue pending the outcome of the LRC discussions, he said.
