A one-year local bargaining pay agreement has been reached between SIPTU and the ground handling contractor Swissport.
The deal, agreed at local level covers approximately 480 union members in Dublin, Cork and Shannon, and provides for a 3% pay increase from 1st January 2026, to expire 12 months later on 31st December, 2026.
Also provided for the agreement is a tax-efficient voucher worth €500, which is to be paid to each worker in November 2026.
This deal follows on directly without a break from the previous pay agreement at the company, which had also been for 3% of wage increases over 12 months with a €500 voucher, covering the 12 calendar months of 2025.
