The Aviation Sector hosted an information stand at Dublin Airport on 30th April to celebrate Trade Union Week. The stand generated a lot of discussion with existing members and garnered a lot of interest from those workers not in a union.
Trade Union Week is a week-long series of events focused on highlighting the benefits of union membership and encouraging workers to join a union. The theme for SIPTU this year was “SIPTU Visible. SIPTU Strong. “ Held in late April into early May, coinciding with the May Day Bank Holiday, this year Trade Union Week ran from 27th April to 4th May.
