SIPTU pays dispute benefit to members in accordance with Rules 150-155 of our rule book.

The purpose of dispute benefit is to give some financial assistance to members in the event they suffer a deduction in pay by their employer following a strike.

To qualify for this entitlement, you must have 26 consecutive weeks paid membership.

A lesser payment will apply to members who have less than 26 weeks paid membership.

Please be advised that this portal will only become live after the termination of this dispute. This will then allow the union to calculate the totality of the dispute benefit that you may be entitled to.

Please note: To claim dispute benefit an actual deduction from pay must have occurred as a result of engaging in strike action, and that its verified that attended for picket duty.
