The SIPTU Health Division represents over 45,000 workers in hospitals, other healthcare facilities and within communities throughout the island of Ireland. Our members are organised in both the public and private sector. Their activities make a major contribution to improving the quality of people’s lives and delivering essential services.

There are four Sectors within the Division: 

• Radiographers, Radiation Therapists, Community Welfare Officers, Pathology Technicians, Irish Blood Transfusion Service CWOs.
• National Ambulance Service (All Grades), Intellectual Disability Sector, National Health Care Assistants Committee
• Supporting All National Groups, Craft Group
• Nursing; Private Hospitals and Groups Home Helps.
